I decided to volunteer at the YWCA for my volunteer hours. I was really interested in volunteering with this organization because I have heard about what they do for women and children. So far, I have met with the coordinator twice to fill out paperwork and hand in my clearance check. I am starting to actually become worried because every time I tell her when I can come in and volunteer she tells me that she isn't available that day for me to come in and volunteer. I am confused because there are other people volunteering at the YWCA who have completed their hours so I don't really know why I am having so much trouble getting in there to actual volunteer. I have contacted her many times about coming in but each time she says that I will have to wait to hear back from her because her schedule is busy. I really hope that I am able to get in some time this week so I can complete my hours. I look forward to volunteering with this organization!
