Take Action - part 1

Most of my volunteer work was done in October and throughout the growing season, but as a check in I figured I would give a short overview of what I have done through volunteering to help the women and families of Gennesee County. Teaching/informing about the importance of healthy living and growing your own food has always been a passion of mine. Most people don't seem to know much about gardening and vegetable cultivation in urban areas. I've had some good experiences throughout the last few years that I've participated in advising and assisting in urban gardening. I look forward to sharing more with the rest of you in my final blog.
