Dot Day

In the book, the teacher encouraged the girl to draw her own picture. The girl didn't know how to draw, so she just made a dot and signed her name on it. However, the teacher saw her dot as an art work, which gave her a huge encouragement on art. I don't really like what the teacher does in the story. The teacher just encouraged the girl to draw dots instead of pictures, so the girl kept drawing dots. She didn't even know what her dots mean, and she just randomly draw her dots. In my classroom in the future, I wouldn't encourage my students as what the teacher did in her class.
