The Dot

I would use The Dot story in my elementary class. I would use this story whenever a child would say that they could not do something. I would say remember the story The Dot and my whole class would say yes. Then I would ask the student that is saying that he/ she can't do the problem what did he/ she learned. The student would say "Never say never, Never say I can't. I would plant this so deep into they're head that the students would tell other students the phrase. The kids would take this with them for rest of their lives. This would be a lesson that I teach every class that I have because the story teaches a life lesson that can stick with a person and help them with things other than school.
