Everybody needs some encouragement and at my age I needed all I could get when I decided to return to school. My family was my inspiration for returning to school and continuing my education. Each person has encouraged me in a different way. My dad was so proud of me when I received my CDA telling all his friends that his daughter was a teacher. Although I have worked in the school for 16 years, I am not a teacher but the pride and encouragement he gave me pushed me to continue on to my degree.
My mom has also been great at encouraging me in my path of higher education she has set on the phone with me for hours listening to my writing while I edit it. She also gives positive feedback and ideas.
My husband and children have given me a lot of support and encouragement too. They have picked up the slack at home and tell me all the time that it is never to late to learn.
I would not be here today in these classes if it wasn't for the love, support, and encouragement I have received and continue to receive from my family.
